Some more sculpting sketches

As a test for "SculptJanuary 2022", which I'm currently participating in, I recently did some texture and light testing with sculpting exercises I've done in the past. Mostly caricature heads, usually very unfinished.... I downloaded some nice, free cc0 textures from https://ambientcg.com/ and had a nice time working with them.
The results actually surprised me. The sculptures suddenly looked much more interesting and complete. That's why I'd like to show them here...

This is a montage of the 12 sculptures I've been working on recently. I made this overview to show on BlenderArtists - (the sculpting was all done in Blender).

This one - and the next two - have actually flowed from each other. I was looking for a kind of 'old Indian head',
but I wasn't sure which direction to go in. I like all 3 of them. Making choices is not my forte. :-)

I think this is the funniest of the trio. A small, funny, old Indian, but beware, old Indians are no pussies!
You might be amazed at his agility and bravery! (In the story I have in my head anyway...)

Brother number three. About the same nose, but a completely different type... at least he exudes more authority.

This was a very incomplete sketch, but with the marble texture on top, I think it can be seen.

And again some kind of demon or devil! But I'm a friendly person anyway :-)

This one looks amused. He observes and he enjoys it...

This is an inside joke among Blenderheads :-) I tested a new brush (the Rotate brush presumably ?)
and I used the head of the Blender mascot 'Suzanne'!

In this exercise I had a certain neighbor in mind. He looks quite angry here, but that's artistic freedom, in reality he's a good guy.

This one always reminds me of Benedict Cumberbatch. I only noticed that afterwards, it was never my intention.

And this could be some centurion, I think. Stepped straight out of an Asterix album :-) (Wasn't my intention either).

And another Indian!... One day I'll make an animation short about Indians,
well, ... among other things..., at least that's one of my dreams :-)

And this one also has a hawk nose (I apparently like that)...
but this is not an Indian after all. More of a tough Irishman or something :-)
